Four players went through at the ADC Global Championship on Tuesday without dropping a leg: R. Martin beat R. van der Helm 5:0, S. Dutton won 5:0 against J. Hannema, B. Flew did not allow N. Plovier a single leg, and J. Vanbesien won 5:0 against G. Hall.

The closest result came from B. O’Connor and C. Waegemans. O’Connor won 5:4 and with it the only match in this block that went the full distance in the Best of 9 Legs format: at 4:4 the decider settled it. The format is knockout, one defeat means elimination – which is why the tournament ended early for D. Astbury, who had to concede 1:5 to B. Krcmar.

The PDC stages Players Championship 33 (PC 33) at the Mattioli Arena in Leicester today. The official start is set for 13:00 GMT, which is 14:00 Central European Time. PC 33 and the following PC 34 are the last two events of this year's Players Championship series; the field for the Players Championship Finals in Minehead will only be settled once PC 34 has finished.
