Andy Baetens shaped Saturday at the Champions Week of the MODUS Super Series. The Belgian settled three matches in the seventh leg: 4:3 against Ted Evetts, 4:3 against Archie Self and 4:3 against Derek Coulson. Against Coulson that was the answer to a clear 1:4 defeat in the pair's first meeting on the same day.

Coulson and Scott Robertson also met twice, and here too the picture turned around: Coulson won the first duel 4:3 in the deciding leg, in the second the Scot did not give him a single leg in a 4:0. Robertson then only just got past Darren Beveridge 4:3 and lost his last match of the day 2:4 to Archie Self.
Archie Self had already beaten David Davies 4:3 beforehand and only lost to Baetens in the decider, 3:4. Four matches of the day ended without the winner dropping a leg: Evetts against Campbell, Robertson against Coulson, Baetens against Davies and Coulson against Beveridge.

The ADC Global Championship begins today at the MODUS Live Lounge in Portsmouth. It is played as a straight knockout: one defeat means immediate elimination.
