European Open 2027: Players

The inaugural European Open 2027 at the Salzburgarena features a field of 160 players. All 128 Tour Card holders are automatically entitled to play – including those who only secure their Tour Card for the 2027 season; Luke Littler and every other PDC pro therefore take part without any additional qualification. The remaining 32 places are allocated under a set system: 16 international qualifiers earn a ticket to Salzburg, joined by the four best-placed players from the Challenge Tour and the four best-placed from the Development Tour, plus eight participants from the two amateur series PDC Europe NEXT GEN and PDCE Start. As a result, established world-class players will meet up-and-coming talents and largely unknown outsiders in Salzburg as early as the opening stages of the tournament. Source
