Nunjo Dewaele è passato il turno all'ADC Global Championship di Portsmouth senza perdere un leg. Lunedì si è imposto 5:0 contro Barry Watson. Quest'anno si gioca con il sistema a eliminazione diretta, ogni partita al best of 9: chi perde è fuori.
Di conseguenza su diversi board è stata battaglia. Kevin Lankhuizen ha vinto 5:4 contro Stephen Cake, altrettanto di misura sono passati Clark contro Lennon, Kustermans contro van der Velden e Coleman contro Ayres. Anche van Trijp ha avuto bisogno dell'ultimo leg contro Fitch e ha vinto 5:4.
Per gli olandesi la giornata è andata bene: Pronk, Keen, van Trijp e Kustermans sono andati avanti. Marc Vleghert ha vinto il duello con Lewis Gurney 5:1 lasciandogli un solo leg. Sempre 5:1 si sono imposti Pronk contro Turner, Keen contro Winspear e Remory contro Deklerck.
Dall'altra parte, a Barnes (3:5 contro Heneghan) e Marsden (3:5 contro Barstow) non sono bastati tre leg vinti. Borland ha perso 3:5 contro Huntley.
