Poland Darts Open 2027
19–21 February 2027 · Expo Kraków, Krakau
Part of: European Tour
The Poland Darts Open 2027 are the second of 15 tournaments on the PDC European Tour 2027 and take place from 19 to 21 February 2027 at the Expo Kraków in Kraków. The defending champion is Luke Littler, who won the inaugural 2026 edition 8-4 against Gian van Veen.
The Poland Darts Open – officially the Superbet Poland Darts Open – have been a fixed part of the PDC European Tour since 2026. In 2027 the series goes into its 16th season as the Winamax European Darts Tour and visits ten countries and 15 cities for the first time. After last year's premiere, the tour returns to Kraków for a second time in 2027: from 19 to 21 February it is played at the Expo Kraków, as the second of a total of 15 European Tour events of the season. Before Kraków the tour stops in Kiel, after that comes Riesa. Play runs over three days with 48 participants in a total of six sessions, which start at 1pm and 7pm. On Friday the 32 unseeded players contest the first round in an afternoon and an evening session. The top 16 of the PDC Order of Merit only enter on Saturday in the second round. Sunday brings the decision with the last 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals and final. Up to and including the quarter-finals the format is best of 11 legs, the semi-finals are best of 13 legs and the final is best of 15 legs. A total of £230,000 is paid out, £35,000 of it to the winner. The prize money counts towards the PDC Order of Merit, the Pro Tour Order of Merit and the European Tour Order of Merit, through which the top 32 qualify for the European Darts Championship at the end of the season. PDC Europe has announced an increase in prize money for 2027; until the new amounts are published, the 2026 figures apply. The first edition in 2026 was won by Luke Littler, 8-4 in the final against Gian van Veen, who wrote himself into tournament history with a nine-darter. For Polish star Krzysztof Ratajski the home tournament ended in round two with a narrow 5-6 defeat against Luke Humphries. In Poland CANAL+ broadcasts the event with Polish commentary; at the 2026 premiere the Expo Kraków held around 3,500 spectators. As things stand, Kraków 2027 is the only PDC tournament in Poland – the Poland Darts Masters of the World Series of Darts, held between 2023 and 2025, is no longer on the calendar.
