The Austrian Darts Open 2027 will be held from 7 to 9 May 2027 at the Stadthalle in Graz and run officially under the name ELTEN Safety Shoes Austrian Darts Open 2027. It is the fourteenth edition of the tournament and at the same time the eighth of a total of 15 events on the European Darts Tour 2027 staged by the PDC and PDC Europe, which this year visits ten countries and 15 cities for the first time. The PDC Europe ranking tournament was staged for the first time in 2012 and changed location several times in its history – from Wiener Neustadt via Salzburg, Schwechat and Premstätten to Graz, where the European Tour is a guest in the large Stadthalle. The tournament is played in a knockout format with a field of 48 players. The first three rounds and the quarter-finals go over Best of 11 Legs, the semi-finals over Best of 13 Legs and the final over Best of 15 Legs. All matches take place on stage: on Friday the first round is on the programme in two sessions, on Saturday the seeded players enter in the second round, and on Sunday the third round, quarter-finals, semi-finals and final follow. A total of £230,000 in prize money is paid out. The winner receives £35,000, the runner-up £15,000, and even an exit in the preliminary round is still rewarded with £2,000. PDC Europe has announced an increase in prize money for 2027; until the new amounts are published, the 2026 figures apply. The prize money from the European Tour events counts towards the European Tour Ranking, whose top 32 qualify for the European Darts Championship at the end of the season. The reigning defending champion is Josh Rock, who beat Kevin Doets 8-6 in the 2026 final and so claimed his second European Tour title. In the 2026 semi-finals Rob Cross and Daryl Gurney each lost 3-7; the best German was Martin Schindler, who reached the quarter-finals. The tournament's record winner is Michael van Gerwen with four titles (2013, 2017, 2019 and 2022).
