The Poland Darts Open 2026, staged as the SUPERBET Poland Darts Open for sponsorship reasons, took place from 20 to 22 February 2026 at the EXPO Kraków in Krakow. It was the first of fifteen events on the PDC European Tour 2026 and therefore part of the PDC Pro Tour 2026. It was also the first European Tour tournament ever held in Poland – after the country had already shown its enthusiasm for darts with the Poland Darts Masters as part of the World Series. 48 players took part, competing for total prize money of £230,000, of which £35,000 went to the winner. After the draw, Gerwyn Price and Michael van Gerwen withdrew for medical reasons; Michael Smith came in from the reserve list for Price and Callan Rydz for Van Gerwen, with both entering directly in the second round. In Friday's first round, Krzysztof Ratajski was the only one of the five Polish starters to go through: he beat Mickey Mansell 6-3 and afterwards called it one of the most valuable wins of his career. Andrew Gilding turned a 0-3 deficit into a 6-3 win over Jeffrey de Graaf with six legs in a row, finishing the match with an average of 106.55, while East Europe qualifier Boris Krčmar beat Ryan Joyce 6-3 with an average of 102.44. Cameron Menzies hit nine maximums in his 6-4 win over Ritchie Edhouse, and Connor Scutt won 6-4 against Damon Heta, who had earlier come back from 0-4 with a 167 finish among others. On Saturday, Luke Littler opened his tournament with a 6-1 win over Mike De Decker and an average of 113.84; Luke Humphries (6-5 against Krzysztof Ratajski) and Gian van Veen (6-5 against Andrew Gilding) both had to go to a deciding leg. Sunday's finals day brought the last 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals and final. Littler beat Ross Smith 6-2, Josh Rock 6-1 and Chris Dobey 7-3 in the semi-final – averaging 105.91 against Dobey. Gian van Veen came through the deciding leg against Nathan Aspinall, won 6-2 against Wessel Nijman (average 107.50) and beat Luke Humphries 7-5 in the semi-final. The final was a rerun of the 2026 World Championship final, which Littler had won 7-1. After four legs that all went with throw, Van Veen hit the first nine-darter of his career on stage in the fifth leg, with two maximums and a 141 finish, to move 3-2 ahead. Littler then took control, won the next four legs for 6-3 and eventually came through 8-4. The world champion finished the match with seven maximums and an average of 108.06, securing the inaugural title in Krakow as well as his fifth European Tour title. According to PDC Europe, 9,200 fans followed the weekend at the EXPO Kraków, where a total of 372 maximums were thrown.
