The European Darts Grand Prix 2026 was held from 17 to 19 April 2026 at the Glaspalast in Sindelfingen and was the fifth of the 15 events on the PDC European Tour 2026. 48 players competed for a total prize fund of £230,000, of which £35,000 went to the winner. The tournament has been a fixture on the European Tour since 2014; no other German venue has hosted more PDC events than Sindelfingen. It was played in the classic knockout format, with the first four rounds over Best of 11 Legs, the semi-finals over Best of 13 and the final over Best of 15 Legs. There were several withdrawals beforehand: Luke Littler and Luke Humphries pulled out, which moved Mike De Decker and Kevin Doets into the field via the Pro Tour Rankings and handed seeded places to Jermaine Wattimena and Mike De Decker. Luke Woodhouse withdrew his entry for private reasons, which brought Peter Wright into the field via the Pro Tour Rankings; Ian White came in off the reserve list for Ryan Joyce, who also pulled out. Several seeded players went out early. Top seed Gian van Veen lost his opening match 3:6 to Joe Cullen, defending champion Gary Anderson went down 3:6 to Niko Springer, Ryan Searle lost 2:6 to Wessel Nijman and Mike De Decker 4:6 to Krzysztof Ratajski. Several former world champions were already out in round 1: Rob Cross (2:6 to Mickey Mansell), Peter Wright (3:6 to Jeffrey De Zwaan) and Raymond van Barneveld (3:6 to Cameron Menzies). On finals day it was Gerwyn Price and Ross Smith who came through. Price entered in round 2, where he beat Dave Chisnall 6:4, won 6:4 against Chris Dobey in the last 16, came through 6:5 against Martin Schindler in the quarter-finals and beat Wessel Nijman 7:4 in the semi-finals. Smith won against Cameron Menzies (6:3), Josh Rock (6:5), Nathan Aspinall (6:4) and Krzysztof Ratajski (7:5). In the final Price had the upper hand at 8:6, taking his tenth European Tour title, while Ross Smith lost his fourth European Tour final. The prize money counts towards the PDC Order of Merit, the ProTour Order of Merit and the European Tour Order of Merit, which decides qualification for the European Darts Championship in Dortmund.
