PDC World Masters 2026: Format

28 January – 1 February 2026 · Arena MK (Marshall Arena), Milton Keynes

The Winmau World Masters 2026 was played entirely in set format, with a set decided over best of 3 legs in line with the tradition of the old World Masters. The distance increased as the tournament went on: the preliminary round and first round were best of 5 sets, the second round and quarter-finals best of 7 sets, the semi-finals best of 9 sets and the final best of 11 sets. In the tournament's first twelve editions a normal matchplay format was still used; the set format has applied since 2025. Compared with 2025, the distance of the preliminary round was increased by one set in 2026. The main field of 32 players competed in a knockout system, and the points counted towards the PDC Order of Merit. Source
