ADC Global Championship 2026
1 – 8 November 2026 · MODUS Live Lounge, Portsmouth
The ADC Global Championship 2026 takes place from 1 to 8 November 2026 at the MODUS Live Lounge in Portsmouth. For the first time, 128 players compete in a straight knockout format for total prize money of £126,000.
The ADC Global Championship 2026 is the flagship tournament of the Amateur Darts Circuit (ADC) and will be played from 1 to 8 November 2026 at the MODUS Live Lounge in Portsmouth. After the 2024 premiere won by Devon Petersen and the second edition, in which Jack Tweddell beat Jonny Haines 9:7 in the final, the organiser has completely overhauled the tournament. Instead of 56 players in a group stage as before, 2026 will be played with 128 players in a pure knockout format: one defeat means immediate elimination. The first two rounds are best of 9 legs, and the last 128 round runs from Sunday 1 to Wednesday 4 November. In total, 16 live sessions are scheduled across eight days, each day with one afternoon and one evening session. ADC official Scott Hunt calls the increase from 56 to 128 players a big step for amateur darts, one that is about more opportunities and more open doors. Total prize money is £126,000. The champion receives £20,000, the runner-up £8,000, and even a first-round defeat is still rewarded with £500. The qualification routes have been expanded: additional places go to regional ranking winners, to the two best players from each region in the combined VAULT standings of series 14 to 18, and to the top 16 of the Winmau Western European Tour, which is scored across twelve tournaments. On top of that come qualifiers from Africa, Canada and Australia as well as from several European countries. The opening day immediately claimed the defending champion: Jack Tweddell lost his first-round match 1:5 to Welshman Alex Williams. Later in the first round, Ashley Coleman came through one of the strongest opening-round ties against Daniel Ayres, and on 2 November Lorenzo Pronk, Jeffrey Keen and Marc Vleghert all won 5:1. The last 128 round continues until Wednesday 4 November. All sessions are shown live and free of charge on Pluto TV and on YouTube, and spectators are welcome in the hall throughout the week.
