Register for a darts tournament

Registered in seconds: singles, doubles, teams, waiting list, payment and cancellation

Many tournaments use DartCloud registration. You sign up with your account, see the list of participants, get reminders and can manage your registration yourself until the registration deadline. Here's how it works.

Tournaments with registration

Registration in four steps

  1. Open the tournament

    The tournament page shows the date, location, format, entry fee, registration deadline and the list of participants. If DartCloud registration is active, you'll see the "Register" button.

  2. Enter your details

    First name and surname come from your profile; for doubles and team tournaments you also add a partner or team name. Some organisers ask for their own fields, for example your playing level.

  3. Confirmation

    You get a confirmation in the app and by email. Depending on the tournament, your registration is confirmed straight away or waits for the organiser's approval.

  4. Entry fee

    The payment details are on the tournament page. For many tournaments you can mark "I have paid" after the transfer; the organiser sees it straight away.

Waiting list, changes and withdrawal

If the tournament is full, you end up on the waiting list and move up automatically as soon as a place becomes free. Under “Manage registration” you can change your details, see the information and the participant list, and withdraw as long as the organiser allows it. Once the tournament software is running, registration is closed.

Doubles and teams

In doubles tournaments a player registers together with a partner, in team tournaments a team registers with a name and its players. If you are still missing a partner, it is worth taking a look at the community or at the participant list.

What you see before the tournament

Registration deadline, confirmation and approval

Every tournament has a registration deadline set by the organiser; after that, only on-site registration is possible, if the organiser offers it. Some tournaments confirm registrations immediately, others only after the organiser has checked them, for example when proof of playing standard is required. You can see the status of your registration (confirmed, pending, waiting list) at any time under “Manage registration” in the app and on the web.

Invitation links and internal tournaments

Club-internal tournaments or closed league rounds are not advertised publicly; there you register via an invitation link or a registration code handed out by the organiser. After registering, everything works just like at public tournaments: confirmation, reminders, the draw in the app.

Data protection and visibility

Only your name appears on the participant list, exactly as you enter it when registering; organisers additionally see the details from their own fields. Whether the participant list and waiting list are publicly visible is decided by the organiser for each tournament. You will find all your registrations together in your profile.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account to register?

Yes, a free DartCloud account in the app or on the web. Your details are then carried over into every registration.

How do I pay the entry fee?

The payment details are on the tournament page, usually bank transfer or PayPal. After paying you tick “I have paid” and the organiser confirms.

Can I withdraw my registration again?

Yes, under “Manage registration”, as long as the organiser allows withdrawals and registration is still open.

What happens if the tournament is full?

You go on the waiting list and move up automatically as soon as a place becomes free. You'll be notified about it.

Can I see who else is playing?

Yes, if the organiser has shown the participant list; the waiting list can be visible too.
